Pixsense Shutting Down?

There are rumors that Pixsense is shutting down its development center in Pakistan; thus laying off several of its engineers. It's weird that the company's career's page still lists down various vacancies as of today.

  1. I was being hired by PixSense as senior software engineer and just told before my 3 days they told me of my joining that they cannot hire me :( that was really very sad to know and I am still jobless becuase of very unprofessional act by PixSense

Their funding was stopped so they wont have any money pay future salaries.

It is lot better than working and not getting salary compared to letting you know before hand.

  3. This is not the real case this what the present to the people for clarification .. the real truth is that this company has merged with Folio3 and continuing their operations from there.

  4. Anonymous11:07 PM

they have not merged. folio3 helped them out and took their engineers that were being laid off.

  5. Anonymous11:56 AM

is Pixsense now folio3 or not ?

  6. No, it's not. Please see the comment above you: "Folio3 helped them out and took their engineers that were being laid off."

  7. Anonymous3:36 PM

pixsense is not out of funding they are going to operate under different name to save taxes and have acquired an office in gulshan

    bullshit! *** company!

It was a failure from the very beginning. I joined Pixsense as a technical writer years ago. Within my first week I figured out product on which they are floating is a dud. How long this can last in world of Facebook and Twitter is only the question of time.
For an entire month I had no work, and all the other people were just as good, but better at pretending busy. I got so frustrated that i resigned in the end, because of no work. SHITTY COMPANY, worst career move of my life.
