Startup Arabia

Startup Arabia captures the latest in IT startups of the Middle East. It's an interesting blog for people living in the region; I always thought that entrepreneurship of the UAE nationals and those from the greater Middle East was limited to construction and oil industry; this blog told me otherwise.

The website started in March 2008 and I guess it is gaining good momentum. There is a country wise startups page as well.

  1. Website looks more like startups-in-middleeast, not 'specifically' related to IT(software, to be very specific). All I was able to find was the e-commerce category while looking for a more generic, IT-type category. Even the commerce section is filled with websites of food chains, online stores, and a couple of etc. I think I was expecting a "list" of software companies (0:

    Nice find though.
